GES Details Circumstances Leading To Death Of OMESS Student

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has detailed circumstances leading to the death of Jenifer Naa Doku Bolor, a Second Year Oyoko Methodist Student in the Eastern region.According to the Ghana Education Service, the student died while writing her end of semester examination as has been widely reported.A statement signed by the Head of Public Relations, Unit, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, the student was not well prior to writing the paper.“Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES)is saddened by the death Ms of Jennifer Naa Doku Bolor a form Gold General Arts 5 student of the Oyoko Methodist Senior High School.Jennifer, after writing the last paper of the semester exams on Thursday 30th July 2020 reported sick to the school nurse and while she was being attended to, she collapsed and was rushed to St Joseph Hospital. Her aunt who works at Koforidua was immediately informed.The statement continues that ” Jennifer, unfortunately, died on arrival at the emergency ward.
